Faithful Day Poem by Blair Blakeslee

Faithful Day

As I sit here and think why
I begin to see
Not even a tear has hit her eye
And it destroys me

I keep a smiling face
So nobody can see the pain
That was brought on by my pace
Only if someone can hear my cries

With no light in sight
she turns away
I will continue to fight
Until that faithful day

As I fight and stand my ground
I will never forget your beautiful sound
