Fake Smiles Poem by Laura Rodriguez

Fake Smiles

I fake smiles
and fake laughs.
While inside,
I'm quietly suffering,
my heart crying and bleeding.
Everyone sees the fake me,
no one cares enough
to ask me if I'm all right.
I fake so many things,
when I'm alone,
it hurts.
When I'm alone,
I just can't stop crying.
