There's something in my mind so hard to forget
Knowing a friend, I won't ever regret
Sharing those memories of laughter and tears
And consoling a pal with doubts and fears

Looking back then, we were happy as ever
Time flies fast when we're together
But life's not at all as bright as we gather
Both of us know we're drifting much further

If there's only a way I could turn back time
I'll try everything just to make you mine
But if fate tells us we are not meant to be
Seeing you happy is enough for me.
