Like a falling star
she shone for a moment
as the glittering stream roled by.
The gentle light from the glowing moon
illuminated the soft white of her skin.
Standing alone in the quietness of the night
her sweet voice mimiced that of an angel's.
The song whispered of a happiness once known
yet those words are lifeless now
like her cold unbeating heart,
and the dreams she held so close
fell and vanished
like the lonely falling star.
