False Pretense Of A Stanza Perceived Poem by Andreas Vanezis

False Pretense Of A Stanza Perceived

Our people of lost dark past,
Our light will no longer glow.
The truth we choose to cast,
Our preachers no longer know.

Frozen Lakes from lost blinded tears, to rid us of a cancer.
Occluding Owl of ones needs, time shall bare tree of it's leaves.
Descending descendants by starlight burst, reproof our financier;
Abash lie that once was seed, no prize for he, who perceives.

One's sinful pleasure, an others greatest fear;
Converse empty void, never as it might appear.
Yes, even if it was to rein a thousand years.
Assert, shall not eye to wash away the tears.

Enlightened era without Light,
Acquaint age still sans flight.
Fatman's playground he contain's no might,
Warriors by day in line assassins at night.

Reflective mirror that hides no flaws,
Deceitful mind thus concedes no Laws.
Mute melody for fine song once known,
Fling false orchestra who tell intone.

Dictating serpents out of shaded shadows,
Igniting noble flames for frigid heights.
Corrupting night with there lost sorrows,
Meaningless words of a laborer's wrights.

Moral merchants among guile habits,
Satan's servant in name he inhabits.

Imagine this world, the world I'm unable to see.
This world is a world that seems unstable to me!
