Fame And Fortune Poem by Sandra Feldman

Fame And Fortune

Rating: 5.0

Let those in power know
That fame and fortune
Are
But empty words
If deeds don't follow,
Their always slow
Train,
Of promises made
But hardly ever
Sustained,
As countrymen are made,
Their hopes and serenades
To bitterly, swallow.
