Family Secrets Poem by Ray Hansell

Family Secrets

Rating: 5.0

Life can hold many mysteries
To stories that we hold
Deep dark family secrets
That no one wants told

Stories from long ago
That some don't want to share
Stories that some may not believe
Even though the truth is there

Do you have family secrets?
That you safely keep
Would you like to share them
Or, are they better off buried deep?

Every family has a history
Good, bad or worse
Sharing some family secrets
May only be a curse

Especially if a family
Has prominence to protect
The truth about a scandal
Is something no one would forget
