Farewell To A Friend. Poem by Ponniah Ganeshan

Farewell To A Friend.

Rating: 5.0

We have so much tired
With words and deeds, sharing our hearts.
One fellow came up, telling
There is a God and clipped with flowers,
in my ears.

The other fellow came up and, denying it
There is class struggle between the ‘have' and ‘have not'
There is another fellow, wanted to write
the freedom of his community
With the blood of other community.
So days passed and we got tired
And now you wanted to go abroad to get rid
Of your problems,
I say good bye, my dear friend,
The days I wanted to eat, have become
Only numbers.
I say good bye, my dear friend,

Beautifully penned. nostalgic memories of days gone by. What ever said and done, whatever your vision, the time takes you beyond the boundaries to your destination. Whoever you were, you are and you are to be, all will be destined to be parted with friends, families and life someday.
