Farewell To Happiness Poem by Sans Serif

Farewell To Happiness

Watch it fly away,
In the wake of your demise,
Never returning to see me
Ever again.
Your death served a purpose,
Just like everything does.
If a flower blooms, Spring is near,
If the water ripples, Something is in.
Your death served a purpose,
But what does it mean?
When a friend says goodbye
And walks into eternity,
Their souls will change the futrue,
And that's where the beauty
In death resides.
Your death came quick.
No one could foretell.
Tell me through the world,
What does your death mean?
Explain this murder brought by nature.
Were you a victim of circumstance,
Or the Predator of Meaning?
Sadness resides in thoughts
Of death's truth.
Farewell old friend,
And Rest ye Well.
