Fat Pt 2 - How Things Fall Apart Before They Begin Poem by Kevin Patrick

Fat Pt 2 - How Things Fall Apart Before They Begin

</>

Its night of long knives,
when your pretties step cousin
Line ups, short manners,
and extra cost for your pockets
You got kilos of skin
but you’re thin for good friends
Who will starve you as the joker
in the order of the pact
And make a break on the run
when they stab you in the back

Chimeras with pretty faces
never waste a laugh line
When you’re sitting on plane
for an excuse they can deride
Charge you extra for the cost
of who you are as being
Under faux pass rules
that strip away your dignity
And hang you out to dry
To cold showers of frailty
As they worship twigs limbs
and hourglass figurines

The adverts and the derision
were only the beginning
Legislation was passed
which contra banded Trans mass
Statutes were passed
which targeted carb lovers
Making it an offence
to have a Baskin Robins orgasm
And to bask in afterglow
Of Kentuky fried chicken loving

So pull on your girdles
and reverse feed your lunch
The beauty Gestapo
will be hunting down piggies.
Hide deep in the larders
Before the pantries evicted
And black shirt trainers
will be on the hunt in spandex
Get ready to lose pork chops
with therapeutic dish detergent

The world we build
is a broken mirror
Traced in the cracks
of a fractured perception
The oises grows distant
As our thirst becomes hightend
And pure beauty is a glass
That is always half empty
