Fear Poem by desamangalam ramakrishnan

Fear

Chatting, endlessly chatting with you...
meanwhile I am scared
as if all on a sudden my word
shuddering and stammering

Bathing, endlessly bathing my baby....
Meanwhile I fear if
my dear Kid becomes no more.

Watching, endlessly watching
hither and thither....
meanwhile I fear if
my eyes get lost forever,
so I do wink my eyes
now and then.

Breathing, endlessly breathing
in and out....
meanwhile I fear if
my only stock of air
getting exhausted for ever,
so I give a pause
now and then.

All the rest
you might guess:
And, alas,
that is my ultimate fear.
