Fear Poem by poet2user 3204

Fear

It is the burn in your soul,
The whispers in your ear,
The ember on the floor,
The voices that you hear,

No one is with you,
Your all alone,
Don't worry child,
Your not going home,

Stay with me,
Please my dear,
Don't be scared,
This is fear,

Half of me,
Is always here,
The rest of me,
Is always feared,

Not because of you,
Not because of me,
It's the word itself,
Fear oh fear,

I'll never be safe,
I'll never be sacred,
They hunt me like I'm treasure,
They look at me like I'm gold,
I don't want to fear you,
I don't want to go,
It's just the fear,
Always attacking me,

Fear oh fear,
Please go away,
Don't hunt me forever,
This is not the way,
Leave me alone,
I promise I'll go home,

This is it,
It is the end,
This is fear,
And is always here.
