Prayer is the only answer
For when I feel fear
And I think I'll be praying
Until my conscience is clear
I pray that God is listening
Pray that I won't be missing
The times of my life these days
Cause these days have me hazed

Cold, confusing, slow
When does it all end?
I don't think I know
But I know i'll keep wishing
On a 3 leaf clove
That I find what is missing
Until then I keep my heart stitching
And bandaging up my brain
But it really solves nothing
Cause nothing is yet the same

And I pray to God to rid
The thoughts of being insane
Thoughts are powerless
That's what you gotta believe
Believing isn't always easy
Least I can do is hold belief in me
But I keep my heart open
Hoping love will find entry
And my mind will keep on
Feeling like a sentry
