In process of preparation for adventure,
When anticipating for something dangerous,
It's normal to be anxious due to the pressure
Exerted as no two situations are homologous
Therefore, there is fear of unknown outcome.
You don't know what to expect as an upshot,
You are there going to the wild from home,
Thinking deeply, suddenly the area is all hot
Your heart beats faster and sweat drops grow.
There you are aware of few disturbing facts
First, you don't know what you don't know,
Secondly, no time to alter these contracts
Either you take it or leave period and stop.
You decide better be hostage a of fortunes,
But still, simple mistake even at the top
Could spell a myriad of misfortunes,
Bring the whole effort to dissolute ruins
And the only defense mechanism is fear.

An insightful poem nicely penned in beautiful rhyme scheme with conviction. Fear is a bunch of sinister shadows, and a shadow has no substance. It's usually a magnified reflection of something small. That's why upon facing shadow squarely, one often finds it inconsequential. Lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing.
