Draw deep your breath, and bear the bite
Of hellish stroke, that rent the might
From body, bones and muscles; all
Your well loved limbs.
Feel better soon.

Though pain has lent great bullish strength,
And little will fair full at length
Let health retrieve whose ill trade stole
Life's merriment.
Feel better soon.

May eyes compose to sight the way,
And heal 'gain whole as lost time may
Mend sore nerves new and grant reprieve
From suffering.
Feel better soon.

I'll follow to whatever end,
For none as true call me their friend;
Then even if your time is done,
I'll follow you to Hell,
