Feel Free To Fly Poem by Walter Anchors

Feel Free To Fly

When I first met you I was kind of shy
When I took that long first trip
So I could kiss you on your lips
Feel free to fly

My love for you made me extremely high
With you I had all kinds of pride
That I just could not hide
Please feel free to fly

Then that day came you could not reply
In that lonely room
Filled with all kinds of gloom
Now you feel free to fly

No one understands why you had to die
For over 11 years you were my wife
And the best 12 years of my life
Feel free to fly

Going on without you we all must try
Getting through each day
And still not knowing what to say
You always will feel free to fly

Every day when I think of you I cry
Especially when a photo of you I see
I remember with you all of the glee
I now know Faith, my angel, you feel free to fly
