Feel me as I make a crucial mistake

that saddens the one I love

and then that mistake

turn into an internal weight

that crushes me inside

mostly destroying my pride



Feel me as I battle temptation

feel me as I flee fornication

feel me crying out to the Lord

feel the love I receive

feel me as I shiver serverely

as she withdraws the warmth of her's.



Feel the thumping of my heart

as I try to explain

feel the distrust in her eyes

along with the pain



Feel me promise 'this is the last time'

feel her tears as she snaps back 'so was the last time! '

Feel me beg and plead

feel the ground beneath my knees

feel the ground as her footsteps leave
