Feeling Entitled Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Feeling Entitled

Left feeling entitled.
Is the one who breathes the breath,
Of evil released.
Freely to exhale.
As if a dragon from Hell.
On a mission to prove,
This beast within...
Has a mind tormented.
And will not be challenged.
Or its wickedness cease.
Yet haunted.
Unable to sleep.
Wanting to flaunt a worthless purpose
Of proving to others,
Peace to keep...
On Earth will not be.

Feeling entitled.
To destruct, destroy and maim,
Progress gained by humanity.
With wishes to diminish,
All that represents...
Anything that gives consent,
To a unified diversity.
Or allow it dignified.
On shores to keep mentalities,
Aware of who is entitled...
To do as they choose.
With a presenting of their devilment.
Without regard to places kept sacred.
Or God The Almighty.
Demons feeling entitled,
With wishes to have themselves worshipped.
And idolized by others,
As saviors, disciples and true deities.
