Feelings

I feel so sad and lonely
I am alone
I feel so used and betrayed
I am lost
I am lost among this crowd
I am alone amidst so many people

I feel so hurt and heart broken
I am sick
I feel so weak and defeated
I am lost
I am so lonely even at my home
I am so alone although I have a family

I feel so sad and lonely
I feel so used and betrayed
I feel so hurt and heart broken
I feel so weak and defeated

I am so sad and lonely
I am alone
I am sick
I am lost

I am lost among this crowd
I am alone amidst so many people
I am so lonely even at my home
I am so alone although I have a family

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
