I have these feelings I want to share
But they are buried deep in a special place in my heart
They are locked away and protected
Sometimes I wear them on my sleeve
So you can get a quick glimpse and see
That I truly care, and your all I need
Did you see them?
I think he may have stared to long
Quick! my little feelings go back to you special hiding place
Where I can protect you and nurture you
Keep you safe from harm
So see these are the good feelings
Ones that take your breath away.
The kind that make you feel light head when you meet face to face
The kind that leaves me speechless
These are special feelings to have
They can’t be broken or damaged and that’s why I protect them
If something may happen to them I may not be able to feel at all
