Felix,
You are always in my dreams
Like an angel in the night.
You are courageous,
A gentle and swift dolphin of a man,
A brave and soaring eagle of a human being,
A playful and joyful child in spring’s fields.
How I miss you now that you are gone.
If only you were here with me,
Then everything would be all right.
The stars would shine bright again,
And I would laugh, laugh like a young woman
Overcome with affection for her true love.

San Antonio Can High School (9/18/2006 3: 48: 00 PM) I THINK THAT'S A REALLY NICE AND DEEP POEM! MONIQUE RODRIGUEZ- 16, FEMALE
Your name caught my eye, because I have a son living in S.A., but the poem was well worth the trip. If Mr. Jackson is your teacher, then he has done a fine job, both of teaching you (your phrasing is fresh and lovely!) , and of encouraging you and others to post your work for outside feedback. Well done, San Antonio Can! !
Beth, this is really a lovely poem, and well done. Thank you for being the first student to submit work to the site. Sincerely, Mr. Jackson
