I want to be true to myself
To live with the highest ideals
And be guided by integrity.
I want to keep my eye
on the big picture
And yet pay attention
to the smallest detail.
I want to be convicted
of my beliefs and principles
and yet be open to other’s
point of view.
I want to learn more
about myself
and yet be open
to other’s feelings.
I want to accept my vulnerability
and to face my fears,
and yet yield to Your
guidance O’ Lord.
I want to live a life that’s worthy
of your inhabitance
And to keep my body
a shelter to Your Spirit.
I want to put other’s needs
ahead of mine when required,
understanding the ramification
of my every action.
If the way I feel about others
ask for something difficult of me,
Give me the wisdom
to always make
the right decision
