Fight Nor Feign, O Wipe Tears Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Fight Nor Feign, O Wipe Tears

Rating: 5.0

Shame there's none fighting tears, nor to cry,
Shame is it to feign, shame to be sly;
We shall soon have a clue
If the tears shed were true,
Time when comes to keep nation's eyes dry.

He has again taken oath of office, this time looking more emboldened. Hopefully he would be less opposition-obsessed and more focussed on the agenda in hand. After all he has proved himself above all the bunch. My memories went to 2014.

The new PM entered Parliament House apparently overcome by emotions. Bowing on the steps he was found fighting moist eyes, a rare sight indeed. Let us take the gesture on the face value, although people we know do wear masks.
