Wish I could just write again
To let go of my wailing pain
Watching my dreams, go down in drain
I wish to see it rain, again
My steps falter, as I walk
In the midst of greedy flock
There isn't a place to dock
My heart in its lonely shock
I play my memories, in my mind
Every detail, only to find
To her lies, I was so blind
Hopefully, I am right this time
Nothing would but ever change
That she is my love estranged
Hurt enough, my mind deranged
With love would I hate exchange
You may thank me one last time
For your swear I wrote this rhyme
In your life I may not be
But to paint now, you are free
