Finally Im Home Poem by jessica nash

Been looking for a while
Felt like looking for a lifetime
Just cause you could change your life
Doesnt mean you can change mine

I had no choice of freedom
I had no choice of home
Now again i sit all day
Talking to friends over the phone

But suddenly clouds cleared
And the rain began to slow
I can finally somehow breathe
I feeling i never did know.

I dont dred the mornings
Or spending time in school
People that are willing to work
Without thinking they'r too cool.

Now i can smile with out fearing
Now i can stand on my own
Please dont take it away from me
I finally feel at home.
