Find A Place Poem by Gary James Smith

Find A Place

Find A Place

Find a place to pause and pray
Set your affection upon the Lord
Thank Him for His so great Salvation
That's shown forth in His Word
And give Him praise most audibly
With a hearty amen or two
For the sweet remembering of
The Cross that He bore for you

Find a place to pause and pray
I tell you it's so worth it
For there you can in quietness of heart
Have a blessed time of worship
For all the memories that you've stored
Will surely come to mind
Just another great reminder
Of the sin you've left behind

Find a place to pause and pray
Look at the world around you
Many are the causalities of sin
For surely they surround you
With the love that God has given
Give forth some at your disposal
And share that blessed gospel story
For it's the means by which to save all!

He wrapped it up so wondrously well
He's not the Author of confusion
But whomsoever will call upon Him
Will receive a Spiritual infusion
Are you the one for whom He seeks
Perhaps you've gone astray
Swiftly then to a quiet spot
Find a place to pause and pray!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
