Fire Of Life Poem by Barry Middleton

Fire Of Life

it is a hot day in late spring
the magnolias are blooming
bees are gathering nectar

it is time for life to rally
it is the season of growth
nature is building strength

spring gives up her coy ways
for summer is coming
in scents of orange blossoms

I am ready for the heat wave
I welcome the burning sun
I celebrate the fire of life

How beautifully you have connected seasons with life. Yes after spring we must be ready for a fiery sun. Life is not always a bed of roses.

I actually like the heat. This earth would be impossible without the seasons.

Nice Barry; and Florida is certainly the fire of life in summer. Especially these days. That's why I love our mountains at least 10-20 degrees cooler. Won't stop us from visiting my Mom in August though. Also, love your magnolia art. Thanks!

Florida's heat never bothered me till the last two years. It takes more out of me than it used to. Thanks for reading. I love the mountains too especially in summer.
