Fire On The Mountain Poem by Kelvin Obareti

Fire On The Mountain

Rating: 5.0

If I be the fuel in this fire triangle,
I bid you to be the oxygen that rekindle me.
You are the source of ignition,
You complete this equation.
You are the spark to this fire,
I have the drive to keep it burning.
To sustain this fire,
We need each other to be free.
Be free like an eagle in the wild,
Why wouldn't you want to be?
I am the king of the jungle,
You can find refuge under me.
There is fire on the mountain,
They expect us to run.
Our union made the fire,
There is no running from this.
