Fireflies Poem by Liza Sud

Fireflies

Rating: 5.0

When such a heart is parlayed at a game
and you are full of hint of the involvement,
Then much more adjectives I will enlace
in sounds of a necklace of a sonnet.
You walk in the full moon bare on the sand
while turning black the stones of solid fortress,
and I still pull my boat along the strand
as always pulled - to the gates of enjoyments.
For me in sightless window you will wait,
as they expect at midnight quenchless fire,
you wait - yourself, eternal "in yourself",
and it attracts all those who are enamored,
Who sail to the lighthouses that burn
like fireflies in the heart of a soul.

Fireflies are tiny creatures but they have own glowing nature. They sail to the lighthouses memories. An amazing poem is excellently penned.10

Formal and exquisite. Classical and clever.

Then much more adjectives I will enlace in sounds of a necklace of a sonnet.... Fireflies nicely used as the vehicle for passion and romance og the night. And a lovely rhyme-less sonnet.
