First time I laid eyes on you
in my soul I knew
that I wanted only you
and I couldn't let you get away

No matter whatever it took
no matter just how far
I had to come and look
I would make it to you somehow
because I need you even more now

The very first time we spoke
you healed this heart once broke
that made me only want to come to you
and forever by your side stay

First time I ever saw you walk my way
you brought me to my knees
and I gave you all of me
to do with what you please

It doesn't matter where you are
your beauty is all I can see
I felt for the first time
a love through me shine
