Five Limericks Poem by Sheena Blackhall

Five Limericks

A crotchety old Armadillo
Always slept on a feather light pillow
When asked a rat,
‘What's the meaning of that? '
He replied, the ground's harder than Brillo! '

There once was a Mexican chilli
Who liked to wear petticoats frilly
A potato called Reggie
Said ‘girl, you're a veggie
A veggie dressed frilly's plain silly

A lady through internet dating
Met a man with a very high rating
When they final met
She was very uspset
He was ten, who liked game show creating

A woman tormented by bunions
As horrid as oversized onions
Wore a shoe like a boat
When it flooded, she'd float
Saved by drowning of course by her bunions

A girl who on box-sets was bingeing
Didn't notice her pizza was singeing
When the fire brigade
Came to rescue the maid
‘Let me finish this film! ' she was whingeing
