A poor man gave five rupees to a beggar,
I gave five rupees too,
How meanly I was.
No dear, you are not mean...it what your heart wants to give sincerity, no matter what you give and how much it is, a lil can contribute many...and you can do it more with prayers...as for poor, they have hearts too, and understand other dificultiness...we all same, we can give help to others...if we give more because we are richer than others and think like that while we are not willing, i afraid what we give is not only money but to show what we have...we can wear different clothes, but what differentiate us just heart and faith. five rupees of you already enough and you are noble one to encourage people to be kind_Soul

While I was reading the poem, I thought, no you are not mean and when I read the comments of Soul, I was surprised he started exactly his comments with these words. I know you, my Sufi brother, and if you give, you give with a great heart, even if the amount is small. But on the other hand the poem contains a big truth as well, the poor giving away a part of the limited resources they have, that is really so wonderful, admirable and inspirational. Excellent and inspiring poem. A superb ten.
