Mandi Ducroq (9 April 1974 / Cape Town)
Five
Only five, a baby girl
My innocence gone
My heart stood still
What did I do?
What have you done?
Grey clouds replace the beautiful sun
I trusted you and called you dad
What did I do that was so bad?
You called me your princess
You lied all along
Do you know it was incest
Do you know you were wrong
Now I remember
Now I understand
I will not surrender
I wont take your hand
How could you do that?
I was just five
I will fight, I will win
I am going to survive
Just remember, I'm no longer five
