Flare Poem by Mary Oliver

Incredible - so much of truth, so much of beauty, so much of sadness. It has touched the inner core of my being. Like a keleidoscope, it brought so many images of my past into focus - almost like reliving the past.

the first time i read this poem i knew it was one i'd remember for the rest of my life. i read it as part of an anthology and for days after, it was all i could think about. your life is all the lonelier if you haven't yet gotten to know mary oliver.
