Flight Of Icarus Poem by Roy Ruiz

Flight Of Icarus

He was gone
Running away
Flying high not coming back
Time slowed down like a clock without gears
Sweat drips from his forehead
His old home
A normal life
It's for the better it went for the worst;
Chaos in the sky.

He was there
Coming home
Falling down
Coming back
Time gone
Sweat runs up his face
A new home
A new life
It's for the better
It went for the worst;
Chaos in the sky.
