Over the globe after Akathist's reading
In Russian and English languages - both,
The Akathist to Jesus Christ the sweetest -
It gives grace to the brethren of the world.

A flight over the ball that's subtly tactile
In brilliant as well as lustrous tones,
Earth is in rays of yellow-orange sparkles,
Although I'm bodily - in the four walls.

And then sweetness of God, who is embracing.
God is around, then the step of Saint John
Above the book, from where - to reckless brethren
With a sweet prayer on his lips he goes.

Below is the earth. Unsaid, subjacent
Flesh realism in rooms is such a bore.
But Acathist which brings a revelation
Is the true life and the flight of a soul.
