I Want To Become A Woman-President Poem by Liza Sud

I Want To Become A Woman-President

Rating: 5.0

I want to become a woman-president.
I'll give free apartments to everyone.
For gasoline there will be prices-one penny.
After all, they did so in Abu Dhabi.

I will return capital from offshore back.
will return to the people all our plants.
will make the economy much more progressive.
And I will do all this by a bloodless method.

The medicine in Russia will be free again.
And our education will be free the same.
Well, after all, people live in Turkmenistan -
where for all and more they have more than enough.

And communal services, as there, will be free.
And as for a good social prog - it will be,
Because our country is so rich and wide,
That budget we have - is a manna from sky!

I want to become a woman-president.
Because with a woman it will be much better.
And then our country will shine with the light
And on all the earth it will be the most tough!

Because it's a woman who cultivates all.
And Marin Le Pen will be my friend, of course.
Because female weakness in fact is the force.
I treat you with tea and sweet rolls!

***

Your poem is suffused with the very reasons why I think there should be MORE female heads of state. Primarily, it's because you see your role as one of motherly SERVICE to citizens. You are concerned with the happiness of citizens and not the POWER OF THE STATE. You say nothing about the military and giving 1/3 of the national budget to it. And you look to countries with lesser power as examples of healthy societies. What is most characteristic of your Presidency is not YOU but ALL OF US. You will be a cultural leader and not a power-hungry leader. Hoe do I cast my vote for you? ! !

(CONTINUED) ..As with satire, SARCASM depends on the listener or reader to be in on the joke. Sarcasm is insincere speech. Your mom asks if you're excited to start cleaning the kitchen and you say, Yeah, right, when you mean Heck no. To distinguish irony from satire and sarcasm, remember that irony pertains to situations while satire and sarcasm are forms of expression. People make satire and sarcasm happen. Irony is just there. (continued) .. well, MAYBE THIS IS NOT IRONY? I found this item on Vocabulary.com: (i edited a bit for length) IRONY describes situations that are strange or funny because things happen in a way that seems to be the opposite of what you expected. Note the opposite here. If an expectation is black, then an ironic outcome would be white, not off-white or gray. SATIRE means making fun of people by imitating them in ways that expose their stupidity or flaws. (TO CONT.) ..

I didn't know you want to become president. Otherwise I'd give you a recommendation. Having no idea of you wish, I've already suggested for a woman president two candidates, you are sure to know them. I did it for fun, knowing that they haven't got any chance. One is very notorious - Ksenia Sobchak. The other is Irina Prokhorova, whose brother is a oligarks, who once tried unsuccessively for President of Russia.
