Floating Hearts Poem by gupta muskan

Floating Hearts

The warmth of the sun does glow upon your radiant face,
As heaven bends to smile upon this special place.
Where a winding river reaches beneath your dainty feet,
Now a scorched earth lays buried within a fresh, new deep.

Upon a whispering wind my imprisoned heart will float,
As I anchor my tender love upon a rowing boat.
We shall drift together, arm in arm, upon this living stream,
And our hearts will float together upon a river's dream.
