Florence Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Florence

'Fracture for fracture, eye for eye, and tooth for tooth! '
But as a man ingures another,
So shall he be ingured in the same way too.

Florence, you shall not make gods (elohim, teraphim) for yourself;
And you shall not eat anything with the blood in it.
Florence, things may fall apart at times;
But do wake up in life again and move on,
For anyone who commits adultery with a man's wife is not wise.

'Fracture for fracture, eye for eye, and tooth for tooth! '
But like the first day of the secone moon,
Try to keep on along the right paths of life to gain your future.
