Flower 6 - The Fragrant White Jasmine - Sonnet Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

Flower 6 - The Fragrant White Jasmine - Sonnet

Rating: 5.0

Jasmine - the queen of divine fragrance,
Jocular flower that captures every glance,
Jest, feisty, crazy, shrubby vine,
Jazzy look with an amazing smile!

Pearly white petals that curl,
Peeping out of the thick green whirl,
Pampered by royal beauties for adornment,
Procured with excitement by dancers for embellishment!

When Jasmine opens its eloquent bud,
White petals kissed by sun's magical stud,
Whispers its secret scented messages to singing fairies,
Wind dances in joy prancing in prairies!

My favourite Jasmine! Thou art love's mystical fragrance,
My soul drenched with cool breeze of thy love's fragrance!

Divine fragrance is sprinkled every favourite petal of this beautiful flower Jasmine. Sun's magical stud kisses the petals. Joy is ever seen in beauty of nature. This is very thoughtful poem that brings devotion in human mind and takes a person to Divinity....10

Kumarmani ji, Divine fragrance is sprinkled in your beautiful words as well. Jasmine is the favourite flower specially adorned by the women of the south. Thank you so much Sir!

Seldom do flowers attain both aesthetic beauty and mood altering scent. My favorites are zinnias, but they have no scent. Lilac may be my favorite scent, but they are small and fleeting.

Thanks Kelly! Zinnias too are beautiful even though they have no scent.
