Flower Petal Footprints
She talked with such confidence
you'd never know she cried every night
She expressed her love with such passion
you'd never know they would always fight
She laughed when thinking of past mistakes
you'd never know her greatest achievement was death
I know her soul is still on Earth
trying to figure out what it is worth
I know I walk in her footsteps every day
because the flower petals lead the way
