Fluffy Clouds Poem by Me. ...

Fluffy Clouds

Rating: 5.0

Like fluffy clouds of untampered heart
Or galleries of pretencious art.
It's bound by bearer, in unique sight
Of when it's wrong and when it's right.
And for human wants are seldom met
The joyful couple soon forget.

The Happiness, the unflickering flare
The fun in laughter that made them dare *
Blossomed with love, but now its bare *
Consumed in silence and awkward air.
A weird absence and pain unfold
As memories so worn and old.
Of better times when clean and pure
Now its dead and there's no cure.

Her simple heart in harmonic beat
Was fading slowly but now complete.
Stained with ideals he couldn't meet
Has left it crushed beneath his feet.
They say it's pride before a fall
When certain we've just lost it all.

Like fluffy clouds of untampered heart
They soon dissolve, dismiss and part.
As love congeals and twists with hate *
Everything marked on an expiry date
First love's no exception
It was just fate.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Me. .... 27 June 2010

Thank you, I initially wrote this in early hours of the morning as I couldn't sleep because of a recent ending of a long-length relationship. I added a few extra lines just now, but im contemplating removing them. The original came from Me in a pure state; Fun in laughter that made them dare * Blossom with love, but now its bare * As love congeals and twists with hate * opinions appreciated.
