Fluid Motion Poem by Chase Breeden

Fluid Motion

Rating: 5.0

They say that rivers always fork, my friend;
That currents change with every wind;
But still, the waters see no end;
The river rolls on strong

No obstacle nor imperfection;
Can cause a halt or disconnection;
Thus leading me to introspection;
We've been doing something wrong

Like water we must keep on going;
With every trial, we must keep flowing;
Just travel on, forever knowing;
We will keep roaring on along

Through tragedy and devastation;
Through happiness and celebration;
We must keep our drive, determination;
We all compose our own sweet song

When we reach the falls, we will roll on;
Keep flowing til our time is done;
And leave behind our vict'rys won;
After all, the water's never gone.
