Fly Poem by Je'free Y .

Fly

If I wait for the perfect weather,
I will not get close to my destination.
Like a bird, I may be safe in a cage, but
That is not what a bird is bound to do.
The greatest barrier to touch the skies is
The fear of breaking my wings.
If I seek for growth, then I ought
To leave the comfort of my nest.
I will fly to you, my love. I will fly to you.

It is not the critic of my flight who counts,
But I who face the wind and storm.
I let go of the familiar. Failure after failure,
The enthusiasm for heights is never lost.
Let the mind conceive, the heart believe,
Then I know these wings can achieve.
No need to be the eagle nor the vulture
For even a tiny dove can soar the heavens.
I will fly to you, my love. I will fly to you.

Courage is not developed under a sheltering tree,
But out there, the unpredictable atmosphere.
No, not hide from, but reveal to myself my fears.
Seek to relate to the world than dominate it.
I would rather live the poetry I can not write,
Than write the poetry I dare not realize.
It may hurt to love and not be loved, but it is
Most painful not to be able to express it to you.
I will fly to you, my love. I will fly to you.
