Fly Away Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

Fly Away

If all the times I thought of you,
In just one single day,
Were measured in just pennies,
Then we could fly away.

Off to a land where lovers play,
And walk along the shore.
Where treetops sway with coconuts,
And I’d wish for nothing more.

As long as you are with me,
And never walk away,
My world would be a Paradise,
If you are with me to stay.

If all the times I dream of you,
Were counted one by one,
I never would be finished,
It never would get done.

As long as you're my sweetheart,
I’ll make your dreams come true.
Or at least I will die trying,
As my life is loving you!

Fly away with me sweetheart.
Let our hearts both touch the sky.
Lets meet our dreams above the clouds,
As we let our pure love fly!
