Foliage For Fall Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Foliage For Fall

Rating: 3.8

how would you
catalog me
in which shelf
in what part
of your heart
would you keep
till i depart
once i am gone
ill be dead
like many flowers
you've smelled
before i dwelled
but alive
they are still
in those letters
of true love
and hot lust
from the youth
where lies
all trust
i am just
foliage of fall
all that's left
to cover you all
while memories
of spring
is what one
wants
