Folk Of Midnight Festival Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Folk Of Midnight Festival

Rating: 4.2

People in general have interest of joy,
Their traditional music is heard in light,
Darkness of midnight is hearing music,
Participants are travelling in procession.

Street lights are glowing to envision,
Crackers are cracking and glowing,
Fire flakes are sprinkled with light,
They are falling down on lonely floor.

Shiny red coloured flags are very calm,
This victory is done in day is celebrated,
Midnight celebration is in mass movement,
Darkness is the visitor to light of unity.

Sharp noise of crackers and people in light,
This is breaking tranquillity of deep night,
Golden cracker light is the crown of hope,
All are in procession to reach up to paradise.

They are going to search God with light,
Faces are glowing with timeless reality,
Breaking ignorance towards godly wisdom,
This journey is initiated in lap of eternity.

Mid-night festival is beautiful. Greatest happiness we get remaining with God. We search for eternal happiness and we get this. God teaches us righteousness. Thank you very much for sharing this. You are a nice poet. This poem is excellent poem.

Beautiful view of festival being celebrated with lights. No wonder the journey is initiated in lap of eternity. Picture painted beautifully with happiness. Loved reading it.
