I spy this human dude, I do,
And he is wearing a green shirt
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
So this hippo hips to alert,
Knowing keepers wear shirts of green,
And keepers are the ones who feed
Me, so when a keeper is seen,
I have a self interest indeed.
So I watch this green shirted dude
Who just stands and is watching me.
No where on him is any food,
Just a Zoo volunteer he be.
Zoo volunteers are nice I'm sure,
But don't feed me, so no allure.
