the foolish me
is here, falling in love with you
and there you are
more foolish than me
believing that i am in love with you
and me too foolish too
to believe that you are in love with me
in this suspicious world
we had always pretended to believe
and then when fooled
we assure ourselves that we were never fooled
and that we only tried to believe it to be so
when in fact, and here lies the softest thing,
everything is true which we find hard to believe
and that is the most foolish part of the
foolish us.
