Footsteps Echos Poem by Hairang ngiimei

Moonlight glances at footsteps on the sand,
The sea waves slowly silently came,
washes away our footprints on the sand.
With that will our memories too vanish?

will it turn in bubbles
like the mermaid love?
a mermaid who long for love lost.
a mermaid whose love was different.

But still lets walk on and on,
leaving behind trail of footsteps.
hoping it would stay,
knowing it would vanish.

For what is our love
against the roaring vast sea.
but forget not-
its the sea who brought them together,
the lovers who were different.
